Day By Day Activities
Depart from Dar es Salaam in the morning and drive through the countryside and villages towards Nyerere National Park (approx. 5–6 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your lodge/camp inside or near the park. In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you’ll spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds, while taking in the beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive across the vast plains of Nyerere. Explore the diverse habitats of the park in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and the elusive African wild dogs. You will carry a packed lunch to enjoy at a scenic picnic spot inside the park, maximizing your time for wildlife viewing. Return in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at the lodge/camp.
