Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s most famous safari destination and one of the greatest wildlife reserves in the world. Covering nearly 15,000 square kilometers, the park is best known for its endless plains, rich wildlife, and the annual Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move in search of fresh grazing, followed closely by predators.

The park is home to the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and more than 500 bird species. Its open savannahs, acacia woodlands, and riverine forests create diverse habitats that support an extraordinary abundance of wildlife.

Game drives in the Serengeti offer unforgettable encounters, from witnessing lions hunting on the plains to watching massive herds crossing rivers during migration season. Balloon safaris at sunrise provide a breathtaking aerial view of the landscape and wildlife below.

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Serengeti National Park is not only a symbol of Africa’s natural beauty but also a must-visit destination for travelers seeking a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience.
